SF Archers prepare for summer
events:
In preparation for a busy summer, club
members have been working hard to make sure that both the red
and white ranges are in tip top condition. Work parties have
been well attended and the results are obvious.
Tim Hamack (range captain) gave an update
on the progress thus far...."The range is better than it ever
has been, there's still lots of work to do but overall things are
really shaping up" Specifically, Tim said that:
• all news bales have been installed
on the red range
• low hanging branches have been
cut on all the long shots
• stairs have been replaced
• trails have been widened and
cleared out
• new bow racks have been made
and will be installed, they will be placed at both the shooting
and target positions
• new benches have been made and
will be installed on the ranges
