More News
Jack gave a quick update for the members, "We have purchased about twenty five new Rinehart Targets this year and have had three successful shoots. The small increase in charges we made for the Wednesday Night Shoots paid great dividends for us. The Rifle Range Project is on hold until the dry season now and the Water Reclamation Project is progressing very slowly. They have not sent it out for bids yet and they do not know for sure where they intend to put the water tank on the range yet. Thank you to everyone for all their hard work during the year!

SF Archers prepare for summer events:

In preparation for a busy summer, club members have been working hard to make sure that both the red and white ranges are in tip top condition. Work parties have been well attended and the results are obvious.

Tim Hamack (range captain) gave an update on the progress thus far...."The range is better than it ever has been, there's still lots of work to do but overall things are really shaping up" Specifically, Tim said that:

• all news bales have been installed on the red range

• low hanging branches have been cut on all the long shots

• stairs have been replaced

• trails have been widened and cleared out

• new bow racks have been made and will be installed, they will be placed at both the shooting and target positions

• new benches have been made and will be installed on the ranges
