Mark your calendars now for the big event, SF Archers One Million BC shoot. Featuring 63 Dinosaur Targets, it's a two day event, more details are on the flyer to download. Don't miss it, the dates are July 31 and August 1st.
Our May newsletter is now posted. A couple of highlights from the newsletter:
San Francisco Archers would like to extend a warm welcome to the following new members: William, Zak, and Zoe Talbot, Jason Viale, James Hicks, Terry Low, and Sam Low, Nicole and Emiliano Cuadra, and Chris Fogel.
Bea Gambony wrote a great review of our recent shoot, (The Pacific Traditional Rendezous) check it out.
Also, news about upcoming International Bowhunter Education Program,to be held at San Francisco Archers on August 6th and 8th. The class will be taught by certified instructor and SFA member, Jim Langell.

Our April newsletter is now posted. A couple of highlights from the newsletter:
San Francisco Archers lost a dear friend and fellow archer, King Lamadora on Saturday, April 3, 2010. King passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones after a brave battle against advanced lung cancer.
If you have been to the club recently, you may have noticed the lights that have been installed in the practice range and parking lot. They are now fully operational and were installed for safety reasons. All the lights are set on timers to minimize energy usage and because these lights cannot be turned on and off repeatedly over a short time period.

Our March newsletter is now posted. A couple of highlights from the newsletter:
San Francisco Archers will be holding a benefit to support our friend and fellow archer, King Lamadora. As some of you may know, King is fighting a brave battle against lung cancer. We will be hosting a fundraising benefit on March 21, from 2pm – 6pm, see the attached flyer. Please come out and support King. Tickets for the dinner are $10.00 a person. Please come and show your support for someone who has given a lot to our club and the sport of archery.
• San Francisco Archers would like to extend a warm welcome to the following new members: Tim and Judy Cushings, and Jeffrey Tseng. We would also like to welcome back returning member Mike Wall.
• Just a reminder, membership dues for 2010 are now past due. If you haven’t renewed your membership yet, please do so now.
• A new gate has been installed, nice job! also the soda machine in being removed. Read the newsletter for more details on both of these news items.
